The Main power supply will be provided to the connector , As given in the wiring diagram , the three phase supply is given and each of the phase wire is connected to respective terminals 1 ,2 & 3 and each of the three indicating lamps connections are connected through its corresponding phase .
The Neutral wire is connected to the terminal two of first indicating lamps and further it is connected in series with other terminal two of other indicating lamps of rest of two phase . That’s all about the wiring diagram .
The working principle is easy to understand
so , The term single pole signifies that it will be used for single-phase applications, and three-way means a three-way rotary switch allows the user to select from three different input power supplies.
If a power cut occurs in the first phase, then you must rotate the switch to any of the adjacent second or third phases that have the power supply. Internally as shown in the above two images, The specific shape of the cam forces certain contacts to open and others to close. This re-routes the electrical flow from the different input to an output load. This device is applicable for single phase power supply .

It comes assembled with 1 pole 3 ways cam operated rotary switches, ensuring convenient phase selection. The rotary switch is crafted with superior insulating material like Nylon for enhanced electrical and mechanical stability and with silver-tipped butt contacts. the enclosure is fabricated from a durable CRCA sheet construction, The load terminal is connected to the input terminal of MCB and the output terminal of MCB will be connected to the load.
