SELVO MCB Trips the circuit and prevent any mishappening from faults, this can be seen through the green indication on the front of the MCB, and the dolly/knob also lowers down while the trip. But still, it is recommended not to touch the MCB just because it trips and is safe to touch. For better safety, we need disconnector which is commonly known as MAINSWITCH

These are mechanical switch devices used to ensure that an electrical circuit is completely de-energized for service or maintenance. They are operated manually and are designed to isolate a part of the circuit from the system as a safety measure. These devices do not have a mechanism for breaking the circuit under load; thus, they must only be operated under no-load conditions. That is why they are known to be Off-load devices .

Present the types of Isolators MCB to suit various applications, these are Double Pole, Three Pole & Four Pole isolators, etc. As per industry standards, each type is manufactured in three current ratings 40A, 63A & 100A. 
1. Double-Pole Configuration: These can disconnect both the live and neutral wires, completely isolating a circuit. They’re often used in residential and commercial settings for complete circuit isolation.

2. Three-Pole Configuration: Used in three-phase systems, this can disconnect all three phases simultaneously. They’re common in commercial and industrial installations. 

3. Four-Pole isolator  Configuration: These are similar to three-pole type but include an additional pole for neutral wire disconnection, providing complete isolation of three-phase systems with neutral.
